Best Cheap Mechanical Keyboard Gaming 2021 USA

Redragon is a commonly known brand for making high-quality Cheap and budget mechanical keyboards. This keyboard was included in our favorite mechanical keyboard under the $ 100 list. Take a look at the Redragon K552 Kumara.

The Redragon K552 is a seamless mechanical keyboard. This means that it does not have a number pad, which makes it convenient for gaming. Your arms move together on your table, allowing you to play with better posture.

It has 87 keys. The keyboard naturally has a base tilt to boost typing. The case is all black. Redragon states that the base is made of metal and then covered in ABS plastic. It can be felt how heavy the keyboard is compared to a keyboard with a full plastic case. It is a sturdy keyboard with a simple design.

The back of the keyboard has two rubber legs under the keyboard. When crazy things are happening in the game, there is a kickstand on either side of the keyboard with a rubberized coating for extra grip. The keyboard rotates easily, with no kickstand outside.

Grip is one of the things I first noticed when I started typing and using this keyboard. It was rotating everywhere on my desk. Only when I took out the kickstands, the moving became minimal.

However, this limits the adjustableness in the typing / gaming angle. For this to still happen, I have to kickstand down.

It has a non-separate USB cord that connects to the center top of the keyboard. It is a 6 foot rubber cable. Out of the box, it has several kinks that have to bend manually to straighten.

Up front, there is an extrusion box above the arrow keys with a non-subtle branding. On the box is where the caps lock and scroll lock lights are.

The side walls of the keyboard are relatively short, and RGB light can be easily seen. Many single keys, such as arrow keys and function keys, have a small exposed area where you can see the switch and the RGB light through the switch.

The font is suspicious for legends, but it can be attractive. Arrow key legends are aligned to the left of each key. We go more deeply into the keycap and legends below.

There is no USB pass-through, audio jack, detachable USB cable or braided cable, but all of these special features do not expect a mechanical keyboard with this value.

There are multi-media keys on the function row. Other cool features are that you can start a new window, open the Internet, open a calculator, and open the search on your PC using a few keys in the function row. For gamers, it is possible to lock the windows key, so that when you are gaming, you do not accidentally exit the game window.

The Redragon K552 offers only one switch option: the Oetemu Blue Edition. They are Cherry MX Blue clones. These switches are similar to the Cherry MX in terms of switch rattle, voice and typing experience.

Oetemu switches are more cost-efficient. They are common on budget keyboards, but they still offer the same switch performance as the Cherry MX. Perhaps the durability is not as good as the Cherry MX boasts of 100 million keystrokes for its switch.
